Laverne (Bud) Browning, 86, of Hudson, died April 19, 2011, in Windsor. He was born to John and Lucinda (Troxel) Browning March 27, 1925, in Bird City, Kan.
Bud served is country in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946. He was a member of Henderson Community Church for many years.
Bud leaves behind two daughters, Pamala (Bill) Clymer; their two sons; and Starla Ann of Aurora; one sister, Doris Anderson, one nephew, Ned Wolbach (son of Doris) of St. Francis, Kan.; his current wife, Carol, and three step-children. Also several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., April 26, and the funeral will be 10 a.m., April 27, both at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton. Graveside service will be Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
Tabor-Rice Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
