| Birth: | Apr. 21, 1909 | | Death: | Jul. 10, 1943 |  Pfc Conrad T. Hendrick was a soldier of Company F, 179th Infantry Regiment of the 45th Infantry Division. He was killed in the early morning of 10 July 1943 (D-Day operation Husky) on the beaches of Scoglitti in Sicily. Pfc Hendrick was first buried in the 179th Regimental Cemetery behind the beaches. A couple of weeks later he and all the other buried in this cemetery were exhumed and reburied in the temporary American GELA Cemetery. He was buried in plot-grave G-76-906, date of burial was 15 August 1943. On request of the next of kin, Pfc Conrad T. Hendrick was not repatriated after the war, but buried in the Sicily Rome Cemetery in Nettuno (Italy) in grave E-15-43.
