THERMOPOLIS - Memorial services for Thermopolis resident Jesse Ray Carroll, 65, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at Mortimore Funeral Home in Thermopolis. Cremation has taken place.
He died Feb. 22, 2003, at his home, of natural causes.
Born Aug. 27, 1937, in Thermopolis, he was one of eight children of Robert Merrill and Vera (Ready) Carroll.
He worked construction for a while and, later, was a laborer for the town of Thermopolis until his retirement.
A member of Eagles Aerie No. 1884, he enjoyed leatherwork; driving around; collecting cans; and watching television, especially Western movies.
Survivors include four brothers, Robert "Bobbie" of Camp Verde, Ariz., Larry of Clark Fork, Idaho, and Richard and Virgil, both of Cordova, Alaska; two sisters, Alice Bunch of Thermopolis and Bonnie Seghetti of Worland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger.
