Juanita Mae Silver
Juanita Mae Silver, 87, of Wallowa, died Sept. 17.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Wallowa Christian Church with Mel Byers officiating. Burial will follow at Bramlet Cemetery.
Mrs. Silver was born Oct. 7, 1913, to George and Elma Greenwood Werst in Wallowa. She married Ralph Silver on Sept. 12, 1936, at Wallowa. She belonged to the Christian Church and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Odd Fellows. She taught sewing and embroidery for a 4-H club and enjoyed dancing, playing cards and visiting with friends and family.
Survivors include her husband and a daughter, Donna Mae Johnston, both of Wallowa; a son, Donald Silver of Spokane; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Norman Werst of Wallowa.
Memorials may be made to the Wallowa Christian Church in care of Bollman Funeral Home, 315 W. Main St. in Enterprise.
