Maude Custer, 94, Altoona
Maude E. Custer, 94, of Altoona Manor, died of a heart ailment Au. 8, 1999, there. Services were held Aug. 10 at Altoona Funeral Home, with burial in Altoona Cemetery.
Mrs. Custer was born in Polk County and had lived in Altoona most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Altoona United Methodist Church and P.E.O.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Mendenhall of Altoona and Ellen Kay Preston of Pineville, La., a son Milton of Roseville, Calif; a sister, Marjorie Ellis of Media, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
