The following poem was placed on the Remembrance Card & we liked it so much we wish to add it to his memorial:
Don't grieve for me, for now I am free
I am following the path God has laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard him call.
I turned my back & left it all,
To leave this world on the Lord's Day
To Laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.
Ah, these things I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with time of sorrow.
I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I've savored much
Good family, good friends, good times,
a loved one's touch."
