Oscar H. Delk, age 76, of Route 1, Waynesburg, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 26, 1977 at Fort Logan Hospital.
He was a native of Lincoln County and a retired employee of Southern Railroad.
He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Alma Delk, Route 1, Waynesburg, Kentucky;
a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Ruff, Vinton, Va.;
two sons, Kenneth Delk, Greenwood, IN, and Donald Delk, New Port Richie, FL;
three sisters, Mrs. Oliver Sims, McKinney, Mrs. Mary Bell, Akron, OH, Mrs. Mae Passvan, Alliance, OH;
two brothers, Otis Delk, Hustonville, and Clell Delk, Corbin, KY;
three step daughters, Miss Shirley Gooch, and Mrs. Mary Cornett both of Waynesburg, and Mrs. Edith Luttrell, Kings Mt.;
five step sons, Clifton Gooch, Kings Mt., Connie Gooch, Stanford, Arnold and Vernon Gooch both of Sidney, OH, Adolphus Gooch;
eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were at Morgan & Fox Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Elmore Ray officiating and burial at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
