Jessie Thorne Kennerly, of 311 Prentiss Avenue, Greenville, widow of William Dorsey Kennerly, died Friday.

Born in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late D. L. and Annie Foster Thorne, a teacher and a member of Augusta Road Baptist Church.

Surviving are sisters, Mary Sue Thorne of Brevard, North Carolina and Mrs. Frank P. Simpson of Decatur, Georgia; and brothers, W. F. Thorne of Los Angeles, Judson C. Thorne of Taylors and D. L. Thorne of Brevard, North Carolina.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at The Mackey Mortuary; burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
