June 28, 1906 River Falls Journal: Welsie Bredahl has the measles.
January 9, 1908: Edna Bennett, Winnie Ottman and Welsey Bredahl are sick with la grippe.
August 31, 1911: Welsie Bredahl who has been out at the praries through the summer, has returned here again in order to attend school which begins on Monday.
December 5, 1912: Welsie Bredahl is taking an Ag course at the Normal School.
February 6, 1912: Welsie Bredahl has returned here from the Normal School.
January 15, 1925: William Foss and Welsie Bredahl have had radioes installed lately.
February 3, 1927: Welsie Bredahl had his truck quite badly damaged when he run into a Ford car near Hudson Monday.
November 8, 1928: WE Bredahl went to St. Paul with a load of hogs Monday.
December 6, 1928: WE Bredahl's car caught fire as he was driving down the Morrow hill near Fred Heacox's last Tuesday and burned. Mr. Bredahl had scarcely time to get out and remove the blankets before it was all ablaze.
March 7, 1929: A horse belonging to Welsey E. Bredahl residing in Beldenville was killed in a particular manner Saturday evening. Mr. Bredahl had purchased a team near River Falls that afternoon and was hauling them home in his truck. The horses evidently became frightened and started to rear up when the bus came from behind. One horse fell out the rear end of the truck and when the rack tipped off the other horse, a four year colt, received injuries from which it died in a short time.
March 14, 1929: Welsie Bredahl and Chester Truesdill were in St. Paul Wed. with stock and only got as far as Hudson with trucks, coming on train from there.
March 18, 1929: WE Bredahl returned from Dakota with a car load of horses.
June 9, 1929: WE Bredahl was in the city with stock Monday.
January 16, 1930: Welsie Bredahl installed a lighting plant and water system this past year.
March 12, 1930: William caufield died painting at WE Bredahl's last week.
Civl Court of Pierce County: Welsie E. Bredahl Vs. Greg Busby et al. Knowles and Doolittle for plaintiff and White and White for Defendant
July 30, 1931 RFJ: George Busby, Welsey Bredhal, and Leslie Gray figured in a smashup on Highway 65 Sunday evening that might have turned out to be far more serious than it was. While driving on this highway the car a Plymouth sedan, got out of control of the driver, Greg Busby, and left the road near the Kinnic School house ab out 4 miles from town. The car hit a telephone pole which it sheared off close to the ground. the sedan was almost completely wrecked Ater taking a look a the car with its splintered top, broken side posts jamed wheels and fenders and the broken windows it is realized that only by a miracle did the occupants escape serious injury or death. As it was, however , all three escaped with minor bruises and cuts.
December 1, 1932:
Welsey Bredahl of Beldenville lost his new Diamond T Truck in St. Paul in Wednesday night of last week and recovered the machine the following Saturday. Wesley had parked his truck on a downtown street and gone to supper. He returned to find the car gone.He notified the police at once. On Friday the salesman who sold him the truck, was returing from deer hunting trip and noticed the truck, which he was certain belonged to Bredahl, in Forest Lake, Minnesota. Upon returning to St. Paul he learned that the machine had been stolen and notified the police where he had seen it. They recovered the truck but did not locate the thieves.
March 30, 1933: Welsie Bredahl hauled corn from Mankato, Mn to a River Falls elevator last week.
December 22, 1933: WE Bredahl had the misfortune of breaking his truck down with a load of wood on Saturday.
January 18, 1934: Rev. and Mrs. Roy C. Caraway and four others, while en route to River Falls Tuesday evening, narrowly escaped serious injury when their car was struck by the Greyhound bus near the Welsie Bredahl place. Both the bus and the car were approaching the narrow bridge at this point on the road. Rev Caraway attempted to stop as he approached. Due to the slippery road conditions the car spun about as the brakes were applied and came to a stop standing crossways of the road. The bus struck the car broadside but had slowed down enough to avoid tipping the car over, smashing the fender and bumper, no one was injured.
March 29, 1934: WE Bredahl hauled logs to Fred Heacox's saw mill for CA Goldsmith.
May 2, 1934: WE Bredahl is expecting to start work on his pavilion soon.
October 18, 1934: Ed and Welsie E. Bredah were in North Dakota on business several days last week.
June 27, 1935: WE Bredahl purchased a new Chevrolet lately.
December 25, 1935 Prescott Journal: Tuesday evening Welsey Bredahl of Beldenville parked his large truck near the Meachem tavern. Dan Milner came down the street in his new V8 and crassed into the truck. The later was somewhat shocked by this and his car was totally wrecked.
April 3, 1941: Mr and Mrs Traynor moved into the Ed Bredahl house and will work for Welsie Bredahl.
November 11, 1944: Last Saturday evening the truck owned by Welsie Bredahl of Beldenville, loaded with vegetables, cought fire on the "elevator row" in East Ellsworth. Local firemen put out the blaze.
May 10, 1945: Welsie Bredahl had a tombstone erected for his parents last week.
November 1, 1945: Welsie Bredahl was injured Wed. when the trailer he was using struck his leg and tore his ligaments loose. He will be laid up for some time.
August 16, 1953: 4 car accident occurring near Welsey Bredahl farm badly damaged 2 machines early Saturday morning. owners were Harland Nelson Hammond in Osldsmobile and Vernon Culkins of Minnesota, 3rd car of William Deiss of beeldinviiel, 3th car was Willard Battin of Red Wing. - 230 Am, Photo in ER

High Winds do damage. Welsey Bredahl said barrels placed near the barn sailed down the hill. The Trimbelle creek was muddy Friday Morning
April 1959: Welsie Bredahl, 63-year-old River Falls Township resident died at his home near Beldenville Saturday morning. Mr. Bredahl had been in poor health for several years, but was able to assist with work on the farm up to the time of his death.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the English Lutheran Church with the Rev. Russell T. Hendrickson officiating. Burial was made in the Beldenville Cemetery, Winberg's directing.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bredahl, he was born July 22, 1895, and spent his entire life on the same farm. Besides farming he operated an extensive truck garden. For several years he was engaged in hauling livestock, selling out to Coyd Marsh in 1940.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. L. F. (Arlyn) Gunderson of Los Angeles, California, two grandchildren, Jane and Lynda Gundersen, and two foster sons, Charles, at McCoy Air Force Base in Orlando, Florida, and Arnold Geister, at home, as well as many nieces and nephews.
