MISS GRACE K. BEARD
Miss Grace K. Beard of 24 West Second Street, died Sunday morning at 12:25 at the Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years and was
admitted to the hospital Thursday morning.
She was born in Waynesboro the daughter of the late F. J. and Mary (Buhrman) Beard. Miss Beard lived her entire life in Waynesboro.
She was a member| of the Methodist Church, the Spotswood Sunday School Class and the Woman's Society of Christian Service. Miss Beard was very active in church work and especially in the Junior Department of the Sunday School.
She was also a member of the Franklin County Chapter of the D.A.R.
Miss Beard is survived by a brother, Jesse G, Beard, Waynesboro; sister, Mrs. Hazel B. Stottlemyer at home; also one neice and four nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from her home, 24 West Second Street, in charge of the Rev. L. Elbert Wilson. Interment will be made in Burns Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the home this evening from 7 until 9 o'clock.
