Mildred Ballard Adams, 96, life expired on March 27, 2007, at the Green Houses at Traceway in Tupelo. A Lee County native, She was born June 25, 1910 to the late James M. and Eddie Melinda Garner Ballard.
She was an active member of the First United Methodist church of Belmont until 1999 when her health declined. Previously she had been a active member at Mooreville United Methodist Church until moving to Belmont in 1991.
Services were March 29th. at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with burial in Mooreville Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Charles Ballard Adams (Beckie) of Belmont; four grandchildren, Chuck (Cathy), of Sentobia, Kevin (Michelle) of Florence, Anson (Rayanne)of Belmont and Allyson Russell (Chris) of Red Bay, AL; nine grandchildren, Erica, Elizabeth, Rachel, Merilese, Catherine Adams, Anna Butler, Elizabeth, William and Rian Russell; one niece, Jane Soffos of Memphis, one nephew, Jimmy Ballad of LaGrange, Tn
She was preceded in death by her Husband of 62 years, Anson C. "Harvey" Adams; her parents; a brother, Elmo Ballard.
