She was born in Opp, Ala., and had lived in Bay County, Fla., since 1960. Mrs. Saltz was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence "Boots" Albert Saltz; brother, Jack Pittman; and her son-in-law, James Cleveland Kent.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lynda Sue Hamilton and her husband, Charlie, and Rita Myrene Kent of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; her grandchildren, Jeff Estabrook (Mariese), Jamie Kent, Norman Estabrook Jr. (Carmen), Jason Kent (Gina), Judson Kent (Suzanne) and Kelly McDowell (Brian); and six great-grandchildren, Siena Estabrook, Keegan Estabrook, Rees Estabrook, Chloe Estabrook, Jet Kent and James Kent.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Craig Brannon officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.
