Juanita Ruth Owen was born to the parents of Chester William and Cora Mae Owsley Owen June 5, 1924. She resided in the Hominy, Oklahoma area.
Ruth married Cecil Ray Moles on October 18, 1952 in Cleveland, Oklahoma in Pawnee County. They lived on
South Regan Street during their first years of marriage, later moving to 220 South Brown. Ruth and Cecil had 3 children; Diana Lynne, Elizabeth Dawn and Dona Vienna Renee' that were formally adopted on August 17, 1964. These girls had been with Ruth and Cecil on and off during their infancy and until her death and were loved by Ruth and Cecil as their very own.
Ruth loved their biological Mother Rosalie Roth, her favorite niece, very much and was always indebted to her for allowing them to adopt the 3 girls. Rosalie spent many times visiting with her Aunt Ruth and Uncle Cecil while she was growing up, and at one time even attended school while living with them. Rosalie always had an open invitation to visit with the girls, and letters and pictures were often exchanged.
She was a member of the Assembly of God church where she occasionally played the piano, and was the children choir leader. Ruth worked for the Munsingwear factory in Hominy for many years and was known to be the best seamstress in Hominy.
Juanita Ruth Owen Moles died of breast cancer shortly after being diagnosed and having cancer treatments at Oklahoma University Hospital when she passed away on April 1, 1968. She was buried in Hominy cemetery, Hominy, Oklahoma.
