Warren Mynatt Bearden is the son of Isaac Bearden, Jr. (Aug. 1803 Spartanburg, Spartanburg Co., SC - Aft. 1870 Etowah Co., AL) and Mary Ann (Morgan) Bearden (May 26, 1807 DeKalb Co., AL - 1870 Etowah County, Alabama).
He was the husband of Martha Amanda (Ashley) Bearden. His was published in "The Gadsden Times" newspaper; Etowah Co., AL; on Sat. Feb. 25, 1950.
Warren passed away at the residence of his son, John Bearden, at 25 Arthur Street, after an illness of several weeks. His Funeral Services were held at the Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Henderson and the Rev. Loyd Fincher officiating.
John E. Bearden, James O. Bearden, William Ray Bearden, Eugene Bradley, Harold Couey and Howard Couey served as active pallbearers. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bearden was a retired textile worker, having worked at Dwight Manufacturing Company until 1935. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He was survived by three sons, John, William, and Ed Bearden; two daughters, Mrs. Essie Walters and Mrs. Mattie Couey; 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
