Daughter of Zack and Blanche Alexander Wilson, wife of Martin Ely Griner.
THE BUTLER HERALD
Butler, Ga., Tuesday, August 10, 1909
At her home in Bushnell, Fla., July 17th, the sweet spirit of Mrs. Ola Griner, wife of Mr. Martin E. Griner and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilson, winged its flight from earth to Heaven. Her remains accompanied by her husband, and mother-in-law, Mrs. J. Griner of Hampton, Fla., were brought to Howard, Ga., July 19, and interred in the cemetery at Daviston, Ga., surrounded by a large crowd of relatives and friends, the services were conducted by Rev. J.G. Harrison.
The passing away of this lovely young woman is indeed sad; only eighteen months ago whe was married to Mr. Griner and these few months were happy indeed and the husband -----. Why she was taken so young with every promise of a bright and useful life we know not but God knoweth. The last few weeks were spent with her precious mother who is on a bed of affliction and does not know of her daughter's death. She returned to her home in Bushnell just three weeks before she died and her grief for her mother was almost inconsolable.
The inspiration of her sweet christian life will live long in the hearts of those who knew her. She left the sweet assurance that she was ready and that she trusted God. To fond husband, devoted father, brothers and sister, we can only point you to Jesus for comfort and strength in your deep grief. May you find a refuge indeed. - By One Who Knew Her
