Birth: Sep. 18, 1963
Death: Dec. 4, 1983

SPEC 4 U S A A S E
US ARMY

Gordon was born in Florida as a son to Gordon & Sandra Bryant. He was the nephew of Leo Douglas and Ida Idell Richards Bryant Richards.

He came from an old Floridian family originating back to a G, G, G, G, Grandfather Langley, who had come to Florida in 1765 at Picolata, near Jacksonville.

Gordy was the Commander of the Army JROTC unit at Riverdale High School in Ft. Myers and left to serve his country in the US Army soon after graduation, entering as an E3.

He was a helicopter mechanic and stationed at MacDill AFB in an elite hand-picked unit.

Having just completed EMT School at the University of Tampa, he was planning on becoming a paramedic upon discharge.

(This memorial for Gordy, originally created by Ken & Nancy, was graciously transferred over to Chiquita to edit and then honorably given to his father, Gordon.)
