Stacy Lynn Strain Bailey was born on February 11, 1964 to Henry Lynn Strain and Carrie Belle Foreman Strain. Stacy passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2010 in Florence, Mississippi. Stacy was the eldest of three daughters. She was raised in Duncanville, where she graduated from high school in 1982. She then moved with her family to Midlothian, TX where she lived until she married Christopher Michael Bailey on March 4, 2005. They made their home in Florence, Mississippi. Stacy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emery and Odessa Strain and Horace and Annie Mae Foreman and father, Henry Lynn Strain. She is survived by her husband, Christopher Bailey, mother, Carrie Strain, stepchildren, Dylan Scott Michael and Darby Shae Bailey of Stockdale, Tx and sisters, Brandi Lavern Strain and Chelita Strain Michalka of Midlothian. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Brandi Gail Rawlins and Lauren MacKenzie Michalka , Brody Will Strain, Mason Emery Michalka and Morgan Christopher Michalka of Midlothian, and Heather Culpepper, Brittany Bailey, Meghan Hopkins, Brooke Roy and Bradley Bailey all of Florence Mississippi and a large extended family and many friends. Stacy's exuberant personality and ready smile will be missed the most by those who loved her. Her generosity and openness were qualities that made her circle of influence broad. Her dedication and love for her family were uncommon. There are nieces and nephews who may be loved as much, but none loved more than Stacy's. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Midlothian Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Cowboy Church in Waxahachie, Texas. Interment will be at Mt. Peak Cemetery, Midlothian, Texas where she will be laid to rest beside her father.
