Services for Peggy Bo Abbott, 76, Branchport, N. Y. formerly of Ben Wheeler, were held at 11 a. m. Wednesday, April 23, at Eubank Funeral HOme Chapel, Canton, with Rev. Glenn Dittner officiating.
Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton.
Mrs. Abbott died April 17, 2008, in Penn Yan, New York.
She was born August 1, 1931, in Isle, Minnisota to Alfred Walter and Betsy Catherine Nelson Tangler. She was of Lutheran faith. She was a graduate of the Swedish Hospital of Nursing and worked at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkley, California. She was a resident of California and Maryland prior to moving to Ben Wheeler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Varrell Abbott.
Surviviors include daughter, Catherine Ann Abbott Loucks, and husband Roger, Branchport; son, William "Bill" Abbott, and wife, Vicky, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; granddaughter, Sarah Loucks; and sisters, Audrey Flatgaard, Daytona Beach, Florida, Arlene Broe, Faribault, Minnisota, and Helen Fladabo, Isle, Minnisota.
