GROVER HILL Marion R. Bidlack, 76, Grover Hill, died at 9:17 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, in his home.

He was born July 9, 1930, in Roselms, the son of Aaron and Edna (McClure) Bidlack. In 1951, he married Doris Bowling, who survives. He retired from farming and BF Goodrich, Woodburn, Ind. He was a member of Roselms Christian Church, United Steel Workers Local 715 in Woodburn and Farm Bureau and a former member of Turkey Foot Dance Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran, stationed at Eilson Air Force Base, Fairbanks, Alaska, and a member of Grover Hill VFW Post 2873.

Also surviving are three sons, Mark (Helen) of Paulding, Dean (Betty) of Continental and Todd (Karen), Delphos; a daughter, Jill (David) Bauer, Grover Hill; two brothers, Jim (Connie) and R. Paul (Shirley), Grover Hill; four sisters, Vera Apfel of Pioneer, Emma (Henry) Rosengarten of Leipsic, Mary (Ray) Hoverman of McComb and Edna Mae (Dale), Spitnale, Oakwood; and 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Clarence and John; and two sisters, Dorothy Thompson and Irene Blythe.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Roselms Christian Church, with Pastor Gary Church officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill, with military honors accorded by Grover Hill VFW Post 2873. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Jackson Township, (corner of U.S. 224 and Ohio 634), and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
