Mr. Agerton was born April 3, 1922. He passed away January 12, 2011 in Fayette, Alabama.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda (Sammy) Renfroe; step-daughter Sherry M. Corbett; three grandchildren, April ( Brent) Tolbert, Christy (Keith) Birmingham, Dr. David Corbett; great-grandchildren, Brooks Agerton Tolbert, Ross Jameson Tolbert and nephew, Frank (Janice) Polk.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Zelma Wheat Sullivan Agerton and Norma Thomas Agerton; parents, Willie Wayne Agerton and Lucy Mae Jones Agerton; sister, Mae Agerton Polk and brother, Jack Agerton.
Active pallbearers were; Brent Tolbert, Keith Birmingham, Dr. David Corbett, Kenneth Maddox, Bob Renfroe, Howard Byars, Don Byars and Ricky Byars.
