Karen G. Kubica, 66, of Navasota, passed away suddenly, Friday, January 8, 2010.
A Memorial Service is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Navasota.
She was a faithful Witness of Jehovah for more than 40 years, and a member of the Navasota Congregation for 30 years.
Karen worked at TAMU and was planning to retire from the Strategic Sourcing Department. She was a strong and wonderful person and will be remembered by many.
Survivors include her incredibly loving husband of 37 years, Joseph Kubica; her children, Jesse & Cathy Kubica, of Wimberley, Jerry & Vicky Kubica, of Old Dime Box, Becky & Archie Mann, of Florida, Barbara & Jon Schlandt, of College Station; grandchildren; Derek & Tania Steptoe, of Pearland, Colt & Lauren Kubica, of Giddings, Krissy & Ivan Lopez, of Houston, Jessiree Kubica, of Old Dime Box, Blair Ann and Baylee Rae Mann, of Ocala, Flor.; great-grandchildren, Cade & Liani Lopez; sister-in-law, Trudy Meigs, of Baytown; uncles; Dennis & Joe Wells, of Houston; brothers, Dennis & Ted Gittinger.

On Jan 09, 2012 Joseph Kubica, husband of Karen, took her ashes to Karen's son Jerry's property outside of Old Dimebox, Tx. Karen liked that place. It is 21 acres of peaceful, piney woods on CR436 in Lee County, Texas.
Thank you to Karen's daughter Barbara for all of her help in being able to put this memeorial for both her mom, Karen and grandmother Jere.
