Elsie Louise Daufeldt, 96, of Muscatine, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Carrington Place. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Dr. Bruce Ursin of the Wesley United Methodist Church will officiate. Casket bearers will be Troy Daufeldt, Derek Daufeldt, Brian McManus, Scott Longhurst, Todd Longhurst, and Ray Arp. Burial will be in Moscow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010, at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to Hospice Compassus. Louise was born on April 22, 1913, in rural Cedar County, the daughter of Clarence and Olive Dallege Stanbro. She married Walter Daufeldt on December 4, 1935, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death. She enjoyed square dancing and belonging to square dancing clubs, gardening, and embroidery. She belonged to the Christian Women's Group and the Moose Lodge.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Lloyd Daufeldt; one great granddaughter, Tara Rae Odom; one brother, Louie Stanbro; and one sister, Dorothy Fry.
