She was born October 8th, 1928. in Plainview, Arkansas, to the late Arthur Lee and Nettie Carrie Baker. Frankie married Ray Black on 12/25/1950 he passed away on 04/17/1978. They had one daughter Patricia Karr. She was a house wife and a Healthcare worker at the Ola Nursing Home. Frankie loved it when family and friends would visit her, gardening, and church. She then married Lee Schmitt on March 31, 1985. He passed away on 04/07/2001. She was a member of Ola Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee & Nettie Carrie Baker; husbands, Ray Black and Lee Schmitt; sisters, Mary Jane Baker, Lois Stapleton, and Mae Harley; brothers, John, Victor, Edward and Paul Baker and grandson, Dakota Karr.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Karr (John) of Humboldt, Kansas; brother Kenneth Baker of Sand Springs Ok.; sister, Bonnie Berry of Dardanelle; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and her Mitchells Nursing Home family.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Ola First of Assembly of God Church with Bro. Don Lane officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday October 2, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Young Gravelly Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Larry Baker, Tony Reeves, Melvin Johnsgaurd, Sam Turner, Doug Potter, and Stan Smith. Honorary pallbearers include Dean Stapleton and Delmas Stapleton.
