South Carolina, USA
Wife of CAPT Russell F. Harney, USN
Nearly as tall as Russ at about six feet, she was just about the most srikingly beautiful of the drags I saw at Naval Academy hops. We were near neighbors in Norfolk when Russ and I were in our first ships, and my wife was super impressed with Cathy's making catsup and tomato sauce from scratch with tomatoes fresh from farmer's markets. We did not consciously name our daughter Kathy for her, but she was one reason the name had a good association for us.
