FRANKLIN GROVE - Edna S. Hutson, 83, of Franklin Grove and formerly of Chana, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999 at KSB Hospital in Dixon. She worked for Eaton Corp for 17 years prior to her retirement in 1975.

She was born on April 18, 1915 in DeSota, Wis., to Samuel and Mary (Mellem) Samuelson. She married William "Henry" Hutson on Aug. 19, 1933 in LaCrosse, Wis. He preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1996. She was also preceded in death by four grandchildren.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Rochelle.

Survivors include two sons, Richard (Kathleen Moran) Hutson of Albany, Calif.; and Lee (Mary Ellen) Hutson of McFarland, Wis.; four daughters, Carol (Ronald) Rand and Linda Hutson McLane, both of Rochelle, Kathleen (George) Bouska of Oregon and Jane (Dan) Allen of Poway, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Rochelle with Rev. Garry Briesacher officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle.

A memorial has been established to Faith Lutheran Church.
