Ernest V. "Victor" Erickson was the son of Nils Erickson and Emma Christena Magnuson, of Sweden and Alto, MI. He was the husband of Annie Jensen of Denmark and Battle Creek, MI.

Victor was tall and powerful, yet a gentle, respectful man. He owned and farmed his 80 acres in Caledonia, MI, until his retirement. He also had a herd of dairy cattle.

Victor Erickson was a very spiritual man and took his faith very seriously. He worked hard and worshipped faithfully, as he lived his life in the rural farming community.

A good father and husband, a kind and gentle grandfather and loving son and sibling, Victor was a man that was loved and valued by his extended family, too.

His death was not easy, but his faith was strong and he left this world with quiet bravery and a hope of seeing his family again in eternity, through the life and sacrifice of his savior, Jesus Christ.
