Death: Jul. 7, 1946

Died of asphyxiation by hanging (suicide) at his home on Hough Ave in Cleveland. Death Cert says he was a widower, still looking for a date of death for his wife, Florence Faud Benjamin. He had been a patient at the Massillon State Hospital (Massillon, Ohio) during the 1930 census although he was not listed as being of "insufficient capacity" and was working in the kitchen as a cook.

He and Florence had married in Wayne County, Ohio 1912 2 Oct, and in 1916 they were listed in the The Farm Journal Directory of Medina County Ohio. They had two children, Kathryn E Benjamin who married Harry H Hawk of Creston, Ohio, and Lavonne E Benjamin.

Miles had been a standout at Creston High School where he had written and delivered one of the Oratory Speeches at his graduation in 1909, he was also in the Yearbook staff as assistant business manager.

He seems to have been an only child.
