Dear Chip, rest in peace my friend we had a great time at the Bob Hope Christmas Show 1970. Chip was walking point on this day 1971 when a booby trap went off killing him and wounding another. Sorry, I don't know his name. I wished you well as the medivac chopper took you both out. It was a sad day my friend I think of you often. At Christmas my Mother and I toasted you. God Bless. I was with Luther the day he was injured. I have his pictures if any of his family is interested in having them. Mark Kapinos, UNC, [email protected].
