Services for Eileen B. Hendricks, 84, of Omaha, formerly of Madison, were held April 8, 2008. A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. at Westlawn/Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha, followed by an 11 a.m. memorial service at King of Kings Lutheran Church, Omaha.

Pastor Mark Zehnder officiated. Worship leader was Rachel Scott and pianist was Steve Roberts. The congregation sang "Lift High the Cross."

Casket bearers were Mike Boysen, Brandon Bral, Duane Siedschlag, Derek Bral, Tom Wrighton and Kirk Hendricks. Honorary bearers were Jenna Bral and Lindsey Hendricks.

Eileen died at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

The daughter of Henry and Rosetta (Zessin) Boysen was born on May 28, 1923 in Madison County. She was baptized on June 17, 1923 at St. John Lutheran Church, Green Garden, and confirmed there on March 21, 1937.

She attended St. John Lutheran School, and graduated in 1941 from Madison High School. She attended Norfolk Beauty College and was a beautician for many years until retiring.

She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha.

Eileen married Tom Hendricks on July 12, 1947 at First Lutheran Church in Omaha.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Robert Hendricks and Judy [Mannenbach] of [Tucson,] Arizona, and Mark Hendricks of Omaha; one daughter and her husband, Susan and John [Bral], and five grandchildren, all of Omaha [should be four of Omaha, one of Tucson]; one sister, Aletha Nathan, of Norfolk; nieces and nephews.

Eileen was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia; four sisters; two brothers; and her parents.
