Clarence Junior (Jack) Frost passed away July 5, 2012 in Island Park, Idaho from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Jack was born September 21, 1924 in Bluffdale, Utah. His parents were Joseph Clarence and Zelma Crump Frost. As the eldest of 5 siblings he enjoyed a wonderful childhood in Bluffdale and other places in the west as his father worked for the railroad.

Jack married Rosalie Richards December 17, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was devoted to her and to their family in every way. They have 7 children, 20 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Jack's family members were the focus of his life. He was an excellent father and a loving and involved grandfather.

Jack had an interesting and colorful life which included working for the railroad, the Navy and the FBI. Jack was an attorney and always had a compassionate heart for those in need. In later years, he enjoyed teaching English classes to Spanish-speaking adults. Jack served 2 missions for the LDS Church, one as a young man in the Southwestern States mission, and later as a couple missionary with Rosalie in Costa Rica.

Jack enjoyed studying the gospel and the Book of Mormon daily. This was his hobby and he was truly committed to understanding the gospel and applying it in his life. Above all else, Jack was a great example. He was kind to others, loved to serve people, and was positive and uplifting in every situation. He was selfless and always put others needs before his own. His kindness and encouragement helped family, friends and strangers alike. Jack was truly a follower of Jesus Christ.

Our family will always treasure the time we spent with him, especially the last three weeks of his life enjoying the beauty of Hebgen Lake, Montana together. We will be eternally grateful to him for the love, service and example that he has provided to us. We love him, and know that he has returned to the Savior that he loved and followed so well throughout his life.

Jack is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosalie; his children: Linda, Peter, Susan (Brian) Steffensen, Jennifer (Kirk) Weiler, Richard, Nancy (Scott) Olsen, and Carol (Matt) Cannon; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters: Sharon Sedlar and Miriam Anderson, his brothers: Reed (Arcilee) and Tony (Colleen); his in-laws: Stephen Richards, Joseph Richards, Stan and Vickie Taylor, Joyce Shell, and Jim and Kay Richards; numerous nieces and nephews and many beloved friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14th at 12:30 pm at the Monument Park Stake Center, 1320 South Wasatch Drive. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm at the stake center. Interment will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
