Harold W. Clark, 96, of Spooner, Wisconsin, died March 31, 2009 at Indianhead Medical Center in Shell Lake. He was born February 27, 1913 in Bancroft, Nebraska, to Carl and Jessie Grace (Carr) Clark. Harold served in the US Army from 1942-1945 during World War II. He was married in Spooner on November 23, 1946, to Agnes Siebens, who preceded him in death on January 7, 2008. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Jessie Clark, brothers Claude, Clayton, and Archie, as well as his stepmother, Amanda Knutson Clark Riley. Harold worked for Palmer Edwards Bottled Gas. After retiring, he worked for Durand Farms, and he and Agnes delivered Meals on Wheels for the Spooner and Shell Lake Senior Centers. They enjoyed square dancing, polkas, playing cards, watching TV game shows, and latch hook kits.
Harold is survived by three daughters, Dora (Ryan) Gramberg of Spooner; Amanda (Dennis) Johnson of Shell Lake; and Delores "Dee" Clark of Superior; 3 grandchildren, Kim (Steve) Bulgrin; Tammy (Wayne) Ulbrich; and Ronnie Gramberg; 3 great grandchildren, 1 sister-in-law (Delores Schultz of Cottage Grove, MN); and several nieces and nephews. Burial was at the Shell Lake Cemetery.
