She was born September 13, 1922, to Savannah and Luther Stephens in McCreary County, Ky. She married Ronald Griffith on August 11, 1941 in Williamsburg, Ky. and lived in Summit County, Ohio for 37 years. She operated her own home-based beauty salon in Green, Ohio. Upon retirement in 1982, she and Ronald returned to their birth state of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Cleve, Paul, Howard and Prince; sisters, Letha, Edith and Eva, all of McCreary County, and a son, Royce Wayne Griffith of Fairdale, Ky.
