Edith Mae Elder, 65 of Horse Branch died Monday, February 16, 1998.
She was born on June 8, 1932 as the daughter of William and Ora Myrtle Shain Embry.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Elder and one sister, Eva Elder.
She was survived by three sons, Steve and Darrell both of Horse Branch, and David Elder of Leitchfield; three brothers, Everett Embry of Hartford, Leander and Buddy both of Horse Branch; three sisters, Betty Hayse, Mary Jo Corley and Peggy Beasley all of Horse Branch; six grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 1998 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville wit Rev. Carl Bates officiating.
Burial was in Richland Cemetery.
