Pastor of First United Brethren Church for eleven years. President of the Springfield Ministerial Association and active in the Springfield Council of Churches. Attended the Indiana Central College and graduated from Bonebrake Seminary at Dayton, Ohio. Held pastorates in Indiana and Illinois. He was married on Sept. 4, 1907 at Vevay, Indiana, to Miss Leola Blanche Miles. She survived as well as daughters Miss Mildred, Mrs. Francis P. Bundy and Miss Maxine, his mother Mrs. E. E. Forwood and six sisters and six brothers.
