Lloyd S. Bennett, 59, of 349 South Fifth st. died at 3:50 a.m. today at County Memorial hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage suffered at his home last Sunday.
He was born in Guernsey county July 10, 1898, a son of Thomas and Adeline Leech Bennett. He was married Aug. 15, 1921, to the former Grace McCoy, who survives.
Mr. Bennett was employed at the Conner Meadow Gold dairy.
He attended the Coshocton Nazarene church.
Surviving besides the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Fern Honabarger and Gertrude Hillery, both of Coshocton; a son, Earl Bennett, Coshocton; two sisters, Mrs. Murl Moody, Coshocton, and Mrs. Amanda Emler, New Concord Route 2; two brothers, Thomas of Coshocton and Samuel of each City, and six grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother are deceased.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dawson funeral home. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
