Genevieve E. Martin Carbaugh, 73, of 52 N. Potomac St., died Saturday, May 8, at Waynesboro Hospital.

Born in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of Ramona Jane Sprankle Martin of Waynesboro and the late Frank C. Martin.

She was a 1937 graduate of Waynesboro High School. She was formerly employed at
J.C. Penney in Waynesboro, and at the circulation department of the Record Herald in Waynesboro for a number of years.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Waynesboro and the Cheerful Givers Sunday School Class.

She was also a member of the South Chapter 2977 AARP in Waynesboro and the National AARP.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Theodore R. Carbaugh; two sons, Ronald E. Carbaugh and Dennis W. Carbaugh, both of Waynesboro; one brother, Wilbur H. Martin of Waynesboro; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Jay A. Saxe will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
