Esther Grace Berberick of Lincoln City, died Feb. 17,2011. She was 94.
She was born June 19, 1916, in Hillsboro, Ore., the sixth of eight children.
A noted artist who lived in Lincoln City for 35 years, Esther was delightful woman and was known as the "queen" of hugs."
She enjoyed her Saturday morning radio show, Chinook Winds lunches with the ladies, crossword puzzles, both working and teaching, and horoscopes.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth Neal; son Norman Berberick; grandchildren Troy, Meghan, Erin and Joshua: and great-grandchildren Jessi, Hanna, Cash and Jacob.
Interment will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 6, at Pacific View Memorial Gardens in Lincoln City.
Following will be a potluck gathering at the Lincoln City Community Center from noon to p.m. to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you contribute to your favorite charity in Esther's name.
