George H. Frizzell was born in Goldthwaite, Texas, October 23, 1915, to Sam and Lou Frizzell.
He was a member of the 503rd Airborne, a Veteran of World War II Paratrooper with many combat jumps, an avid sportsman and fisherman, a very kind, gentle, caring person who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife (who he lovingly called his girlfriend) Lois A. Frizzell; step-daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Carrol Whited; step-son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Becky Gray; a sister, Jocelyn Taylor, of Goldthwaite; and nieces and nephews.
George H. and Lois were sweethearts as teenagers. They went in different directions for most of their adult life until they were reunited as husband and wife 16 years ago. He tried to see that her life was filled with happiness and had seen to her every need.
As a young man he rode Race Horses in parks across the United States. He served in the military in the 503rd Airborne Div. as a Paratrooper in World War II, and then worked for Champion Paper Company in El Paso for over 30 years.
His friends and family will miss his wit and sense of humor. He was a rare individual that lived his life with dignity and class.
