Harold A. Lambert, 66, Mt. Vernon, died 6:28 p.m., Dec 14, 1991, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center.

Mr. Lambert retired from Johnson Controls in St. Louis after 37 years as a pipe fitter.

He was born July 20, 1925, in Hamilton County, a son of Harvey A. and Ellen (Campbell) Lambert. Aug. 25, 1950, in St. Louis, he married Geraldine "Jerry" Gaulden, who survives.

Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday at Hughey Funeral Home with J. Howard Kraps officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post No. 141of Mt. Vernon.

Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Lambert is survived by two daughters. Lisa Lambert and Carole "Mickey" Lambert, both of Mt. Vernon; one stepson, Michael Steele of St. Louis; one brother, Randall Lambert and wife, Marilyn, of Bloomington; four step-grandchildren; and three nephews.

Mr. Lambert was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 141 of Mt. Vernon, of Pipe Fitters Union No. 562 of St. Louis, and was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1376.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
