Funeral services for Imogene Beel, 82, of Pryor, will be held on Friday, August 26 at 11:00 AM at Key Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Chris Hales will officiate with burial following at Chouteau West Cemetery in Chouteau. Viewing hours will be Wednesday from 12- 6 PM and Thursday from 9AM-6PM at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Pryor.
Imogene was born on May 25, 1929 in Muskogee to Ernie and Bessie (Hunter) Beard. She passed away on August 22 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Imogene grew up and attended school in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Garland "Ike" Beel and from their union came 4 children. They made their home in Chouteau until Ike's death in 1995. She moved to Pryor after his death and lived with her daughter, Jeannie. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. Imogene loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed taking care of her yard, working crossword puzzles and going to the casino.
Imogene was a Christian woman who loved God and always had lots of faith. She will be missed by all who know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ike and 1 sister, Francis Seawright.
