Son of Noah & Margaret Stroupe Bailey

Harry graduated in 1952 Iowa Western Community College and went on the Northwest Missouri State University to earn his degree. He taught at South Page High School in College Springs, IA and Clarinda High School in Clarinda, IA.

Harry went on to become a part-time instructor at Iowa Western Community College and in 1965 became a full time instructor. Dean retired in 1965 from the business department and Franceta from the library from IWCC.

Harry served in WWII.

Harry was a member of the Hillside Missionary Church in Clarinda, IA.
