Raymond Benjamin Bosher, of Waynesboro, GA, died February 1, 2012, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 65.

Mr. Bosher was a native of Charleston, SC.

After his retirement as Chief of Police in Springfield, SC, he was a resident of Grovetown, GA before moving to Waynesboro in 2003.

Mr. Bosher was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, he served in Law Enforcement, was a Fireman and currently serving as a Reserve Police Officer for the Waynesboro Police Department.

He loved life, his family and his community.

Surviving are; his wife, Jan Hanson of Waynesboro; son, Raymond Bosher, Jr. of Charleston, SC; daughters, Julie Keith of Evans, GA, Karen Bennett and husband John of Harlem, GA and Terri Mullis of Grovetown, GA; brother-in-law, David Hanson of Waynesboro; mother-in-law, Edith Roberts of Waynesboro and eleven grandchildren and one great grandson.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., February 4, 2012, in the Joiner-Anderson-Saxon-Prescott Funeral Chapel with Sheriff Greg Coursey officiating. Burial will in Burke Memorial Gardens with Law Enforcement Honors.
