Edward Theodore Carlton, 58, a resident of 3007 W. Trewyn Street for six years. Died at 9:30 p.m. Friday at his home. A resident of Peoria for 40 years, he was born on December 21, 1907 in Edwards, Peoria, Illinois. He was son of William James Carlton and Frances Ellen Jones Carlton. He married Ruby B Adams in Lansing, Kansas on September 19, 1938 and had been a self employed construction worker for 35 years, last working in 1965. Surviving are his wife and mother, both of Peoria; two brothers, Walter of Magnolia and James of Peoria. Two sisters; Mrs. Pearl Marie Collier and Mrs. Margaret Robinson both of Peoria and one step granddaughter. He was preceeded in death by his father, two sisters and two brothers.
