PEKIN, IL - Robert Francis Entrican, 87, of 1318 Park Ave. died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at his home.
Born Feb. 15, 1917, in Peoria to Joseph and Beulah Beatty Entrican, he married Lilly May Seward in 1963 in Pekin. She died Jan. 9, 1975, in Peoria. He married Mary Cotton in 1975. She died in 1986. He married Dorothy Clayton in 1992. She died in November 2001.
He also was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Myers in 1968 and Donald Myers in 1996, and one brother.
Surviving are two sons, Charles (and Mary Jo) Myers of Pekin and Earl (and Mary) Myers of Washington; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He worked for the Toledo, Peoria and Western Railroad for 26 years, retiring in 1979 as a welder.
He was a World War II and Korean War Army veteran, serving as an Army Ranger.
He was a member of Faith Missionary Church in Bartonville.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. The Rev. David Swain will officiate. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
