Mildred McClure Belcher was born May 16, 1913 at Pretty Prairie, Kansas and died Nov. 26, 1997 at the Prairie Sunset Manor. She was the daughter of George and Belle Colver McClure.
A resident of the Kingman community most of her life, she was a homemaker.
Mildred was a member of the Kingman Christian Church, the E.H.U., and was a former 4-H Foods and Sewing leader for the Busy Bee 4-H.
She was survived by her husband, Clarence Belcher, whom she wed on Aug. 8, 1930. Other survivors included sons Roland and Larry; daughter, Naomi Schuchman; sister, Edna Tinney, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Ernest and Ralph McClure and a sister, Twila Stucky.
Funeral services were held at Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman on Nov. 28, 1997, with John Martyn officiating. Memorials may be made with the Prairie Sunset Manor or Maud Carpenter Childrens Home.
