Mrs. Sharp was born in Chester Township near Overton, November 9, 1880, to Samuel and Catherine Frederick McAfee. She was a member of Geyers Chapel United Brethren Church.
She is survived by her husband. They had no children of their own, but had reared three in their home; Jack Hodge, who was killed in the armed service, Robert Hodge of Elyria, and Mrs. Dorothy Taylor of Jeromesville; a sister, Mrs. Clara (McAfee) Jackson of Creston; a brother, George McAfee of Wooster. Six brothers and two sisters died previously.
Funeral services will be held Monday at the McIntire Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Keith Davis officiating. Calling hours are at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be made in the Wooster Cemetery.
