Charles Christian Figge was born in Lancaster, Missouri July 18, 1890. Here he spent the first eleven years of his life. He then moved with his parents to Montesano where they have since resided. For ten years he has been a great sufferer. The typhoid fever which came upon him and his eldest sister, and which took her, left him to suffer all of these years. He had a great love for his parents, was always kind and patient, always hopeful and longed to get well that he might be a help in every way to those around him. He was a Christian, desiring that his life might be an example to those of his associates. He was 22 years, 10 months and 29 days old at death [16 Jun 1913].

He leaves a father, mother, three sisters and one brother to mourn for him.
