The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the house. Rev. William I. Campbell was in charge, and burial by A. M. Posten & Sons was in Bay View cemetery. The bearers were Charles Gehlhaus, Leroy Carhart, Edward Jagger and Charles Eckman.
Diane's notes:
1. This means he died on Thursday, September 3, 1936 and the funeral was held on Sunday, September 7, 1936.
2. He died of stomach cancer, probably caused by a horse kicking him in the stomach.
