Sometimes, the world just isn't big enough to hold us. Such was the case with our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, Andrew (Drew) Curtis Eldredge, age 32, who needing to find even greater adventures, departed this earth on Monday, February 3, 2014.

Drew had a true passion for life, and a special love of the outdoors. He filled his years with Jeep trips to Moab, rock climbing everything from here to New Zealand, snow boarding in his beloved Wasatch Mountains, touring the country as a professional in-line skater, and so much more. He loved wakeboarding, mountain biking, canyoneering, riding motorcycles, especially his beloved Harley Davidson, surfing, fly fishing, Karaoke, playing with his band, or just (and maybe especially) hanging out with friends. He really could never get enough.

Drew was born on November 24, 1981 in Salt Lake City to Lloyd Eldredge and Terrill Curtis. He came out swinging and never stopped for a minute. Even as a little boy, he hated to waste time sleeping, and always wanted to be on the go.

A real people person, and an artist at heart, he attended the Paul Mitchell School, and became a gifted hairdresser. He loved working at Lunatic Fringe in Sugarhouse, where he considered his coworkers and his guests family; he really did love them. We are grateful for how they loved him in return.

Family and friends were especially important to Drew, and he could always be counted on to help with anything, whether assisting with a move, installing lights, wiring a disposal, lending a listening ear, providing a shoulder to cry on, or just giving a needed hug. His ever-present, and occasionally goofy, smile warmed many, many hearts.

Drew is survived by his parents, Terrill Curtis, Lloyd Eldredge, stepmother Paula, brothers Michael (Jenny), Wilson (Jessica) Jake (Rachel), his beloved nephews and nieces, Gabriel, Janelle, Grant and Liliana (who in his presence pretty much never left his side), as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who love and adore him, and his much-loved dog, Harley.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8, at 11:00 am at the Hillcrest Stake Center, 8485 South 1000 East, Sandy. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends that donations be made to one of Drew's favorite causes, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
