Mrs. Bessie Mabel Belcher, 72, was born June 23, 1882, in Waterloo, Ohio, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mossman. She was married to George H. Belcher, July 1, 1901. They came to Montana and lived for a short time in Billings and moved to Roundup in the fall of 1901. In 1903 they moved to Lavina where Mr. Belcher owned a general merchandise store.
Survivors are her husband; three sons, Robert of Phoenix, Ariz., Ronald and Donald of Cushman; three daughters, Mrs. P.A. Parker of Billings, Mrs. R.V. Leister of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. R.D. Mason of Nyssa, Ore., 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services in the Methodist Church in Lavina. Burial in Lavina cemetery.
